Wow, numerous coconut errors AND an egregious 7-Up product placement? Double threat! Recap's up!
And here's a question I should have asked in my recap: Are the lesbians really that bad, or is it just that there are no other villains this season? Brent and Caite aren't villains, they're just not that bright.
Either way, break out the bubbly, the recap is up!
The Oscars are over, and I'm punctual again with my recap. Boy, the whole season takes a different feel with the news that Louie the cop is under investigation for a police-run cocaine ring, huh? I always thought he seemed like he'd be a bad cop, but I meant it like "ineffectual," as in he would have poor detective skills and the inability to do a foot pursuit. I didn't realize he might be a "bad" cop as in Vic Mackey. Da da da daaaaaah! (Am I the only one who still screams The Shield theme song?)
Anyway, check out the recap, and leave a comment. Let's get some conversation going on that thing!
Also, on another note, here's something else we did that I think all you Mad Men fans will enjoy.
My recap went up a day late because of Oscars (damn you, celebrities and your gowns? Who was I wearing? Shame!), and then I forgot to link it here. But here it is!
I have never missed a recap of The Amazing Race, but last night it was unavoidable. (Actually, I've missed some for vacations. Come to think of it, my record is far from unassailable.) The Oscars just devoured too damn much of the evening, by which I mean all of it. But in case you are the rare devotee who nixed the Oscars in favor of watching the Race and are angry that there's no recap, then grit your teeth with pride that you are a more devoted fan than me. But I will have it up tomorrow morning, I promise! My DVR is still belching smoke after last night, so I need to give it time to cool off before I get back to it.
Sorry for the delay, here it is. I hope none of you had brunch plans that I made you miss.
